What Are Insignia™ Braces?

Insignia™ Advanced Smile Design is one of the most innovative orthodontic systems available today. With Insignia™, you’ll get state-of-the-art treatment that’s 100% customized to you. Unlike conventional braces were all patients receive the same type of braces, with Insignia, each patient receives customized braces made according to his teeth size, shape and orthodontic needs. This allows faster treatment by minimizing the number of adjustments required to customize conventional braces to meet the needs of patients with different dental situations, and thus, minimizes treatment time and number of visits. In other words, digital planning and 3-D visibility allow your orthodontist to add a level of customization and detail that exceeds more traditional braces which are “off the shelf” and generically manufactured to fit anyone’s teeth.

Insignia in North Dallas

Standard methods of treatment require the orthodontist to cement brackets on the teeth as accurately as the human eye can predict. Manual bracket placement is effective, but can result in continuous adjustments and repositioning throughout treatment. Insignia™ Precision Placement brackets, by contrast, are placed in the exact position on the teeth as prescribed by your personal treatment plan. This degree of precision helps reduce the number of mid-treatment adjustments, the length of appointments and overall treatment time. The Insignia™ system also takes into account variations in facial symmetry which require a custom solution for optimal results that standard methods can’t match.

In addition to working faster, Insignia™ braces are also more comfortable than traditional braces and offer you something that almost no other orthodontic system can: a 3-D simulated digital view of your new smile before you even begin.Customized images taken prior to treatment allow you to visualize your beautiful, new smile from the day your braces go on.

The digital scanner system also eliminates need to take yukky putty impressions which are messy, are uncomfortable and stimulate the gag reflex. Check out our ‘What Set’s Us Apart‘ Page for more reasons to choose us!

 What Is the Process?

After you decide on choosing Insigniain North Dallas, we will take your digital scan using our Trios Scanner machine at the office. We then immediately submit your file and wait to receive your brackets back. This process take about 2 to 4 weeks. The next visit, you will receive all your brackets in an hour-long session. The rest is just like regular braces, except that appointments are less and farther apart.
